When will I receive my order?

Stock items can be dispatched immediately for delivery as soon as the next working day, click here to see our current same working day despatch cut off time.
Manufactured to order items must be manufactured first and dispatch time will vary depending upon the current factory production schedule.
Available delivery options and estimated delivery dates for stock and manufactured to order items are clearly displayed at the top of their respective product pages.

My delivery hasn't arrived, where is it?

All missing deliveries should be reported within 7 working days of the expected delivery date. Failure to report a missing delivery within this time will invalidate your claim.

Before contacting us please make sure that you have tried tracking the location of your parcel using the tracking number that was provided to you when your order was dispatched from the TraderSupplies.co.uk warehouse. This tracking number will have been sent to you either by email or SMS text message.

In some situations, the delivery driver may have left your parcel with a neighbour if deemed appropriate or in your designated Safe Place (if you specified one. Click here for more details about our Safe Place service). The onscreen tracking information will provide further information if this is the case. If your tracking number isn't working or the onscreen tracking information doesn't provide any further information then please contact us.

My delivery contains missing or incorrect items, what should I do?

We are only human and unfortunately mistakes do occasionally happen. If an order arrives that is incorrect or missing items then please contact the TraderSupplies.co.uk sales support team as soon as possible and we will endeavour to resolve the problem to your satisfaction.

 


 

How much is delivery?

Delivery charges vary and are dependant on weight. To find the exact delivery cost simply add the product that you're interested in to your shopping basket and go to the checkout screen. A full list of available shipping options and associated prices and delivery timescales is displayed beneath the shopping basket in a yellow box, by default this information refers to Mainland UK only. If your shipping address is located outside of Mainland UK then you will need to register as a customer and enter your shipping address during registration in order to see relevant delivery prices for your area.
Delivery prices and timescales to addresses outside of Mainland UK can vary depending upon your location, click here for information regarding shipping to non Mainland UK regions (including Scottish Highlands, offshore islands, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, mainland Europe and Rest of World).

 


 

How do I know if my order has been dispatched?

We will send you an email as soon as your order is dispatched from the TraderSupplies.co.uk warehouse. In addition to this, you can check the status of your order at any time by logging into your TraderSupplies.co.uk account (click 'Sign In' located at the top left corner of the screen, or click your registered name if you're already signed in). Your recent orders are visible from your Account Dashboard. The below table explains what the different order statuses mean.

 

Order Status Description
Pending - Awaiting Payment Your order has been received but no payment has been received.
Pending - Office Your order has been received and payment has been recorded but it has not yet been processed by our dispatch team.
Processing - Warehouse Picking Your order is in the process of being packed ready for dispatch.
Processing - Factory Manufacture Your order is in the process of being manufactured.
Complete - Dispatched Your order has been dispatched from the TraderSupplies.co.uk warehouse and is en route to you. Now you can go ahead and track you parcel, click here for information on how to do this.
Complete - Awaiting Customer Collection If you opted to collect your order, this status indicates that your order is ready for collection.
Complete - Customer Collected If you opted to collect your order, this status indicates that your order has been collected.

 


 

How do I know what delivery option I've chosen?

During the checkout process you will be asked to select a delivery option. This information is confirmed in your order confirmation email under "Shipping Method". It is also available to view by logging into your TraderSupplies.co.uk account (click 'Sign In' located at the top left corner of the screen, or click your registered name if you're already signed in). Your recent orders are visible from your Account Dashboard, click "View Order" next to the relevant order to see further details.

Can you tell me what time of day my delivery will arrive?

For orders sent via Super Saver, Standard or Express delivery you will receive a delivery alert on the day of delivery with an approximate delivery time to within 1 hour. Click here to learn more about delivery alerts.
We cannot advise regarding the time of day that Saver, Bulky Express or Pallet Express deliveries will arrive.

 


 

Do you offer a next day delivery service?

We offer next day delivery on all stock items*. Next day delivery is available on all orders placed before the same working day dispatch cut off time from Monday to Thursday.
All orders placed before the same working day dispatch cut off time on Friday will be dispatched for delivery the following Monday.
All orders placed after the same working day dispatch cut off time on Friday and before the same working day dispatch cut off time the following Monday will be dispatched for delivery on the Tuesday.

To ensure that your order is dispatched on a Next Working Day delivery service choose "Express Delivery", "Bulky Express Delivery" or "Pallet Express Delivery" during the checkout process (only one of these Express Delivery options will be displayed to you depending upon your shopping basket weight).

*Please note that we cannot offer next day delivery on manufactured to order items due to the additional time involved in the manufacturing process. Available delivery options and estimated delivery dates for all stock and manufactured to order items are clearly displayed at the top of their respective product pages.

 


 

Do you offer a Saturday delivery service?

Yes. Please contact our sales team by phone if you wish to arrange Saturday delivery. This is quite an expensive option which we do not currently offer via our website.

 


 

Do you offer a timed delivery service?

We may be able to arrange a timed delivery for some items, but not all. Please contact our sales team by phone if you wish to enquire regarding timed delivery. This is quite an expensive option which we do not currently offer via our website.

 


 

Do you offer a free delivery option?

We offer free delivery on selected products only. Free delivery is not available across our entire product catalogue except during special offer periods. Click here to see a list of products currently offered with free delivery.

 


 

Are delivery dates guaranteed?

Whilst we always ensure that your order leaves our warehouse when we say it will, we are unable to guarantee delivery timescales due to other factors beyond our control such as extreme weather conditions or other delivery network disruptions. However, all of our selected delivery networks aim to deliver within the quoted period and it is only in very exceptional circumstances that parcels are not delivered on time.

Here at TraderSupplies.co.uk we don't like to mislead our customers. The delivery networks and services that we use are no different from those of other online stores who may claim to offer a "guaranteed" next day delivery service. In almost all cases however, these services are not actually guaranteed and are equally as liable to the delays described above.

 


 

What is your same working day dispatch cut off time?

Our same working day dispatch cut off time is currently 3pm. All orders received after this time will not be dispatched until the following working day.

 


 

Why didn't I get free delivery?

We offer free delivery on selected items only. If you add items to your shopping basket that are not offered with free delivery then the shopping basket will calculate a delivery charge based on these items that are not offered with free delivery.

 


 

I don't want to pay for Express Delivery, why can't I see a Standard Delivery option at checkout?

If you can't see a Standard Delivery option at checkout it is because the total weight of your shopping basket is too heavy to be shipped via our Standard Delivery service. Therefore Express Delivery is the cheapest option available to you.

 


 

Will you send my order on the same working day that I place it?

If your order is for a stock item (as indicated at the top of the product page) and is received before our same working day cut off time then it will be sent on the same day. All orders received after this time will not be dispatched until the following working day. Click here to see the current same working day dispatch cut off time.

If your order is for a manufactured to order item then the item will need to be manufactured first. Click here for further information regarding manufactured to order products.

If your order contains both manufactured to order and stock items then your delivery will be delayed until all goods are ready for dispatch. If you would like your stock items to be dispatched ahead of your manufactured to order items then please contact us. A charge will be incurred for the additional delivery.

 


 

Do I need to sign for my delivery?

Normally, all goods sent via Super Saver, Standard, Express, Bulky Express or Pallet Express delivery require a signature upon receipt. No signature is required for goods sent via Saver delivery. However, the following exceptions can be made:

  • Goods sent via Super Saver, Standard or Express delivery (excluding Bulky Express and Pallet Express) can be dropped without a signature but only if you specify a designated Safe Place during the checkout process. This is a place where the delivery driver can leave your parcel without a signature. For more information about our Safe Place service click here.
  • Goods sent via Bulky Express or Pallet Express delivery must be signed for in person, absolutely no exceptions.

What is a Safe Place?

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR SAFE PLACE SERVICE IS NOT CURRENTLY ACTIVE, WE EXPECT THIS SERVICE TO BE AVAILABLE VERY SOON.

For Standard and Express delivery options (excluding Bulky Express and Pallet Express delivery) you can specify a designated Safe Place during the checkout process for the delivery driver to leave your parcel without a signature. A designated Safe Place could be your neighbour or somewhere on your property that you deem safe for a parcel to be left unattended (a garden shed for example). We advise that customers use this service with caution as we cannot be held responsible for parcels that go missing as a result.

What if I'm out when the delivery driver calls?

If you are out when the delivery driver calls then they will leave a card advising that a delivery attempt was made but no one was available to sign for the package. The delivery driver will attempt to deliver again the next working day. Alternatively, you can use the information on the card to rearrange a delivery for a later date when you know you'll be available to sign for the package or contact the local delivery network depot if you want to arrange a collection.

 


 

Can you send my order to an alternative delivery address?

Yes. Follow the simple instructions during the checkout process to arrange delivery to an alternative address. This could be your work address or a friend or relative's house for example.

If your order has already been dispatched from our warehouse then we can redirect to an alternative delivery address. There will be an additional cost involved to do this.

 


 

Can you leave my delivery with my neighbour if I'm out?

Yes. See more information about our Safe Place service or alternatively you can arrange for your parcel to be delivered directly to your neighbour. For more information about sending your order to an alternative delivery address click here.

 


 

Will I really receive my delivery on the day your website tells me I will?

All quoted dates are accurate but not guaranteed. Whilst we always ensure that your order leaves our warehouse when we say it will, we are unable to guarantee delivery timescales due to other factors beyond our control, click here for more information.

We display delivery options and associated estimated delivery dates at the top of product pages for all stock and manufactured to order products.
Note that manufactured to order item delivery dates will differ from stock item delivery dates due to the additional time involved in the manufacturing process. The estimated manufactured to order item delivery date is linked directly to our factory production scheduling system and is therefore highly accurate.

 


 

What happens after I place my order?

1. You'll receive an order confirmation email as soon as we receive your order.

2. Assuming your order is received before our same working day despatch cut off time then it will leave our warehouse the same day. Click here to see more information about same working day dispatch cut off time.

3. As soon as your order leaves our warehouse we'll send another email containing information which will allow you to track the progress of your delivery via the internet. See more information about delivery tracking here.

4. If you choose either our Standard, Express or Bulky Express Delivery option then you will receive a separate email from our selected delivery network with a unique tracking number for tracking your delivery via the internet, this information can also be sent as an SMS text message (excludes Bulky Express Delivery option).
In addition to this you will receive an alert on the day of delivery advising of an approximate delivery time of your parcel to within 1 hour (excludes Bulky Express Delivery option).
Bulky Express Delivery progress can be tracked online using the tracking number supplied in your email but TraderSupplies.co.uk cannot advise of exact delivery times for this service.
If you choose our Pallet Express Delivery option then you will need to contact TraderSupplies.co.uk Sales Support who will advise on the progress of your delivery.

What is parcel tracking?

Parcel tracking is a service offered by our selected delivery networks which allows TraderSupplies.co.uk customers to track the whereabouts of their parcel via the delivery network's website once it leaves the TraderSupplies.co.uk warehouse. The service is designed to offer peace of mind and allow customers to find out exactly where their parcel is and when it is due for delivery.

 


 

Can I track my parcel online?

Yes, you can track your parcel online for all of our delivery options with the exception of Saver which cannot be tracked and Pallet Express Delivery for which you will need to contact TraderSupplies.co.uk Sales Support for further information regarding delivery progress.

You will receive a tracking number if you select any of the following delivery options at checkout:

Why doesn't my tracking number work?

First, check that your order has been dispatched from the TraderSupplies.co.uk warehouse, click here to find out if your order has been dispatched.
If your order has been dispatched then you will need to allow up to 12 hours for your tracking number to become active.

If your tracking number still doesn't work after 12 hours then please contact us.

 


 

What is a delivery alert?

Delivery alerts are sent by our selected delivery networks on the morning that a parcel is due for delivery. They will contain an approximate delivery time to within 1 hour. The service is designed to offer peace of mind and help to ensure customers are at home when their parcel is due for delivery.
Delivery alerts are sent either by Email or SMS Text Message depending upon the information entered during the checkout process.

Will I receive a delivery alert?

You will receive a delivery alert if you select any of the following delivery options at checkout:
- Super Saver Delivery (sent via Email)
- Standard Delivery (sent via Email)

- Saver Delivery

What is an SMS Text Message?

An SMS Text Message is simply a mobile phone text message. Some (not all) of our selected delivery networks can send tracking information and delivery alerts to you by text message if you provide a mobile phone number during the checkout process.

Can I specify that I receive my delivery alert by SMS Text Message?

Yes. To ensure that you receive a delivery alert via SMS Text Message please enter a mobile phone number as your primary phone number during the checkout process. If you enter a land line phone number then you will receive the delivery alert via Email.

What is the difference between 'stock' and 'manufactured to order' items?

Stock items can be dispatched immediately for delivery as soon as the next working day depending upon when you place you order. For more information about delivery time click here.
Manufactured to order items cannot be dispatched immediately due to the additional time involved in the manufacturing process. Manufacturing turnaround time can vary depending upon the current factory production schedule. For more information about manufactured to order product delivery time click here.

How long does it take to deliver manufactured to order Items?

Delivery time for manufactured to order items can vary depending upon the current manufacturing turnaround time. We display the most up to date estimated delivery date at the top of all manufactured to order product pages and we always try our hardest to honour this delivery date. Manufacturing turnaround time can change on an hourly basis and is entirely dependant upon the volume of orders that are being received and scheduled for factory production at any one time. Busy periods may lead to a manufacturing turnaround time of several weeks whilst in quiet periods this could be just 1-2 days. The delivery date quoted for manufactured to order items is accurate and linked directly to our factory production scheduling system. Manufacturing turnaround time is the same regardless of whether an order is placed by phone, internet or our trade counter, absolutely no exceptions.

 


 

What if my order contains both manufactured to order and stock items?

If your order contains both manufactured to order and stock items then your delivery will be delayed until all goods are ready for dispatch. If you would like your stock items to be dispatched ahead of your manufactured to order items then please contact us. A charge will be incurred for the additional delivery.
